January 30:

New Year, New You Empowerment Brunch

“Closing the Empowerment Gap through Health”

This January, Diverse City: Multicultural Marketing & Recruitment, Inc. will be hosting the New Year, New You Empowerment Brunch with keynote speakers, Andres Gonzalez, Director of the Office of Diversity at Cleveland Clinic, and Pamela Hubbard, Executive Director of Golden Ciphers, who will discuss personal and community empowerment.

NEOSA networking events are renowned for bringing together great groups of tech entrepreneurs and tech supporters from across the region. January 20:

Champions, Jennifer Coleman (CityProwl Cleveland) and Thomas Mulready (CoolCleveland.com), are featured on the Cleveland 2.0: Emerging Leaders panel. 

The City Club of Cleveland and the LNE Group proudly announce the development of Cleveland 2.0, a new dialogue series that will uncover emerging personalities, rising industries and vital issues in the Cleveland vicinity.


The first of six panel discussions will focus on the thoughts and aspirations of emerging leaders for the City of Cleveland and the surrounding region. Please join us on January 20th at 11:30am at the venerable City Club in Downtown Cleveland to listen to and debate with these ambitious individuals as they discuss their vision of a new Cleveland.

Hands On NEO hosts the 2nd Annual "Get Your Hands on the Dream"
   
Please join us, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., for a day of volunteerism that includes painting, youth interaction, senior interaction and more at varying locations. Saturday, January 16, 2010. T-shirts will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own bag lunch for the day. Check in will begin at 8am and activities will last through 3:30pm.

January 12:

PLEXUS hosts its first Annual Meeting and Networking Night

    Please join us for the first Networking Night of 2010 — and the first ever annual meeting to report on the state of Plexus. Starting at 5:30pm in the Diplomat Room on the 7th floor, all members, sponsors, and special guests will be presented with a report on 2009's accomplishments and plans will be shared for 2010. 
    At 6:30pm in the lobby lounge,  the networking portion will begin — bring your business cards!

    The guest speaker will talk at 7:00pm to discuss the status of the LGBT community in his administration and his goals for the future.
